Brunch Italiano & Pizza Senza Glutine

The real story is that when they offered us this super cozy location, basically right below Ciro’s apartment, we knew we had to make the caffè of his dreams—somewhere where he could grab his breakfast in the mornings. Biglove Caffè is our passion project, where we roast our coffee Italian-style, and where we have mascarpone and fresh raspberry French toast that keeps you full all morning and buffalo-milk ricotta pancakes ten times better than any American recipe. Beyond Neapolitan brunch classics, we’re lucky enough to have a wood-burning oven in the middle of the Marais, with which we’ve made gluten-free pizzas so good we dare you to tell the difference between the GF and the original. Oh, and one last thing, like any self-respecting caffè worth its salt, we’re open all day from 9 am to 4.30 pm and from 7 pm to 11 pm.

Reservation

We don’t take reservations at Biglove, so just come knock on the big glass door! Adriano or our hostess will find you a nice cozy table, or put you on the list for a table later on. PS: don’t hesitate to come early on weekends. Brunch is sacred in the Marais !

Why don’t you take reservations ?

We use amazing products that come directly from amazing producers located in Italy. We only serve fresh, 100% made-in-house food. And in order to stay in the spirit of the authentic Italian trattorias we love so much, we offer a menu that’s as affordable as possible. The reality is that latecomers and cancelled reservations represent an enormous cost for restaurants. In order to be able to offer quality products at affordable prices, we have to ensure that all our seats are filled. Either we accommodate a lot of people, or we make a lot of profit.

Plus, there’s advantages to not having to reserve 2 months in advance just to eat a pizza ! To put it simply : we understand that not taking reservations can be inconvenient for our diners, but we have to weigh this consideration against the fact that we’re trying to offer high value-for-money by squeezing our margins. To make things just a little bit easier, we’ve put in place a wait-list system whereby our hostess take your name and telephone number and call you when your table is ready.
