Meet Gloria, a 70’s Capri-style & all-day long Trattoria in the middle of Shoreditch run by a crazy bunch of 85 young and passionate people from the Bel Paese and the sunny coast of Naples.

An explosive menu mixing old Italian classics, with amazing products direct from 180 small producers in Italy – plus a few fun twists from Chef Filippo. From the 10-Level Lasagna, to the Girella (ravioli filled with soft rabbit ragout and Italian polenta), to the Neapolitan Pizza heated in the gigantic Marana oven or even the Italian gelato made with love, Bronte pistacchio or Nocciola del Piemonte. Everything we do is 100% fresh and homemade.

When it comes to drinks, the bar team has created a killer cocktail menu, with the likes of Colada Me Later, a kick-ass flaming version of the classic colada, or the ultimate Italian classic Negroni topped with truffle foam. In the warm and cosy wine room, you’ll find 50 Barolo’s from the best winemakers of Piemonte like Marco Parusso or GD Vajra.

Gloria is a little corner of Italy over two floors. Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner – and brunch at the weekend. Joyful and lush by day, the place gets funky at night, with house made playlists and a cozy vibe downstairs. Bouyyaaa

WALK-INS (max 7 people)

The majority of our tables are kept for walk ins all day long for up to 7 people. If the restaurant is full when you arrive, you can put your name on the waiting list and we will text you when your table is ready. We recommend arriving at 12PM for lunch and 5:15PM for dinner, in order to get a table or put your name on the list and avoid a long wait. Please note once the waitlist is full, unfortunately we cannot accommodate further people.

SEXY BOOKINGS

We take bookings every day of the week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and brunch on the weekends, for 2-16 people (for 10-16 please check Big Groups below). Please note all booking availability is displayed here on the website. If you cannot select a slot it means that sadly we are already fully booked, but remember the majority of the restaurant is kept for walk-ins!

BIG GROUPS 10-16

Gloria's squadra is happy to welcome you for your large dinner parties, your cheerful birthdays, your happy family soiree or your cool business events. Please note that big groups (10-16 people incl.) can only be accommodated with our delicious sharing set menu

We are excited to host your cool events at Gloria's beautiful wine room or sexy downstairs floor from 17 - 70 people. If you’d like to book our space, please contact us on gloria@bigmamma.com for more information, we recommend at least 1 and a half month in advance. Please note that privatizations can only be accommodated with our delicious sharing set menu

CAFFÈ

Please note that during the week the kitchen is closed from 11:00am till 11:45 pm and from 2 :45pm till 5:45pm. During the weekend, the kitchen closes from 3:45pm till 5:45pm. However you are welcome for a hot or cold drink during caffè

We transform our trattorias into Italian delis catering to love, Click & Collect ❤️ You can now fill your basket with exclusive raw products (Parma ham, cheeses, magic wines) and / or 100% homemade dishes (antipasti, pasta fresca, pizza, etc.). Then you just have to choose your collection slot and go and pick up your sexy order at the restaurant. Enjoy! Order

Why don’t you take reservations ?



We use amazing products that come directly from amazing producers located in Italy. We only serve fresh, 100% made-in-house food. And in order to stay in the spirit of the authentic Italian trattorias we love so much, we offer a menu that’s as affordable as possible. The reality is that latecomers and cancelled reservations represent an enormous cost for restaurants. In order to be able to offer quality products at affordable prices, we have to ensure that all our seats are filled. Either we accommodate a lot of people, or we make a lot of profit.

Plus, there’s advantages to not having to reserve 2 months in advance just to eat a pizza ! To put it simply : we understand that not taking reservations can be inconvenient for our diners, but we have to weigh this consideration against the fact that we’re trying to offer high value-for-money by squeezing our margins. To make things just a little bit easier, we’ve put in place a wait-list system whereby our hostess take your name and telephone number and call you when your table is ready.
